The Bridge Inn, Temple Meads, Passage Street

One of the first pubs I came across while cycling in the early days.  Looked ok, but just checked a few reviews and apparently has a cheap ale Monday, and also a load of old vinyl you can play.  Sounds good.  Few minutes from the Cornobia if its no good

Temple Meads - Seven Stars

Cobbled Streets, and real ales. That'll do

Hotwells - Rose of Denmark

Not looked to close at this one, but the decor looks mellow and inviting. If a little pastelly.

Quick look at the menu online and they sell Timothy Tayor. A great Yorkshire ale!!

Quinton House, Park Place, towards Cliffton

Nice ordinary looking pub, and very cosy at 7pm on a Saturday when I walked by. Open till  midnight too by the looks of it.

The Portcullis - Wellington Terrace, Cliffton

Walked past the top level of this one, therefore couldn't see the bar. But its downstairs at street level.
The upstairs looked very bistro like and mellow though. Almost Parisian.  Saw what looked like a pint of Wheat beer in the window.

Hope and Anchor - Jacob Wells road

Nice ramshackle looking pub. Great big windows should make this a good day time paper pub.

Tapas Bar - El Rincon, North Street

Tiny little bar this, but manages to squeeze some bands in.  Only open 6-10pm at the weekend. menu looks great though, and might be the last bar in our upcoming north street bar crawl.
